Spring has definitely arrived in the Yorkshire Dales. Young lambs are in the fields, daffodils are opening, the curlews are mewing and the early dawn chorus makes waking a pleasure. All this, coupled with welcome warmth from the sun when it shines and lengthening days, means that there is extra incentive to get out and enjoy the wonderful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales.
