Film buffs love The Old Vicarage!

There are plenty of entertainment options at The Old Vicarage, particularly if you are a fan of the movies.

At the end of last year, a brand new multi-screen cinema opened at nearby Catterick. This state-of-the-art entertainment complex run by Empire Cinemas has seven plush and comfy auditoriums screening everything from mainstream blockbusters to art-house classics. With a Starbucks and Costa conveniently located next door, it also contains a Ben and Jerry's Scoop Shop for the ultimate indulgence.

For those who prefer something a bit more intimate, there is a small independent 3-screen cineam housed in the former Victorian railway station at Richmond. Here too you can see the latest releases but you can also catch more quirky films and there is an annual film festival. The Station itself is well worth a visit with a popular cafe/restaurant, artisan food producers, an ice-cream parlour, micro brewery and exhibition space all under one roof.

Both venues are just a few miles away from the total peace and tranquility of The Old Vicarage. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it?!
