The Yorkshire Dales has some of the best walking country in Britain and many of our guests like to pull on their boots when holidaying at The Old Vicarage. Some people bring their dogs as companions but what about taking a completely different animal for a walk?
Just a few miles away in the picturesque village of Low Row is an Alpaca trekking centre where you can hire out your very own cuddly alpaca - choose from Larch, Appollo or Aramis. They offer either a short, level 30-minute stroll along the village pasture or a steeper 90-minute trek with expansive views across stunning Swaledale.
