The breathtakingly beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales is enough to make anyone want to pick up a paintbrush and if you feel like being creative then why not book an exclusive painting or drawing workshop with one of the region's best-loved artists?
Nora Yates is a professional artist and qualified teacher based in nearby Richmond who has exhibited widely over the last 20 years, winning many awards for her work.
Using the stunning environs of The Old Vicarage for inspirtion, her bespoke workshops are suitable for both children and adults alike and can be tailored to total beginners or established artists, using a variety of painting and drawing styles. All materials and equipment are provided and sessions can be taught individually or in small groups, for half, full days or even longer.
