Grand makeover for family bathroom

The main bathroom at The Old Vicarage has just been totally refurbished and now has a smart new suite featuring a deep Victorian-style, roll-top, slipper bath with feet. There is also a richly coloured wooden floor and the room benefits from under floor heating for a particularly cosy feel. 

This is the largest of the three first floor bathrooms, which are complemented by a spacious downstairs cloakroom with toilet and handbasin. It's great to have so many facilities to choose from - you never have to queue!

We make bathroom time even more of an indulgence by providing plenty of good quality towels together with an extensive range of complementary toiletries from the Bath House. Naturally made in nearby Cumbria, with the finest ingredients, these products use sustainable palm oil, contain no parabens, SLS and TEA (surfacants) or microbeads and have not been tested on animals. Our favourite is the sophisticated and chic Bamboo and Jasmine range - known for its soothing properties. It combines the fresh cut green stems of bamboo and jasmine, mixed with gardenia, rich amber and soft musk. Totally gorgeous!

As you can see from the photograph, there is also a stunning outlook across Swaledale from the large picture window. There can't be many bathroom views like it!
