We are delighted to announce that The Old Vicarage has once again been awarded a 5-Star Gold Award from VisitEngland for 2016-17 - the highest rating possible in this national scheme for benchmarking the standard of holiday accommodation.
This is the sixth year in succession that we have received the award, having hit this goal when the property re-opened under new ownership in 2010.
The Quality in Tourism assessment report summarised The Old Vicarage as: "A superbly maintained property in an area of outstanding natural beauty, set in private grounds." Amongst the many noteworthy features were "excellent levels of hospitality and local knowledge"; excellent levels of cleanliness throughout"; and "excellent leisure facilities."
